Vitamin D Binding ProteinThink of Transport Proteins as molecular taxis - they collect vitamins, fatty acids & actins then transport them to where they are required. Transport Proteins help the body to rejuvenate naturally by binding and assist with the transportation of, vitamins, fatty acids, and macromolecules found in emu and argan oil and sunlight exposure.   Transport proteins are integral membrane proteins; that is, they exist within and span the membrane across which they transport substances.

Transport Proteins are otherwise know as; Glyco Transport Proteins, Albumin, Gc-Globulin, Vitamin D Binding Protein, Gc-Protein, Deglycosylated Glycoprotein & Deglycosylated Vitamin D Binding Protein.

Vitamin D Transport Protein

Vitamin D Transport Protein is multi-functional plasma protein with many important functions. The most well known one, and the reason for its name, is the transport of vitamin D metabolites .  Because VDTP is the primary transporter of vitamin D, it has a role in maintaining the total levels of vitamin D in the body and in regulating the amounts of free (unbound) vitamin D available for specific tissues and cell types to utilise.

Other functions of VDTP are to control bone development, binding of fatty acids, sequestration of actin and a range of less-defined roles in modulating immune and inflammatory responses.  The actin removal is considered to be a very important role for VDTP, actins being toxic  and released into the body following cell death.

Today there is evidence to link sun exposure and vitamin D to every facet medicine and health.

Adequate levels of vitamin D can improve fertility, safeguard pregnancy, reduce inflammation, help with weight control, protect against infectious diseases like the flu and tuberculosis, prevent strokes and dementia, bolster the immune system, boost memory and support muscle strength.

What all of this really means is that vitamin D may be the most underappreciated and misunderstood anti-aging secret and like so many other anti-aging secrets this one is absolutely free

The fact that every tissue and cell in the body has a vitamin D receptor raises the question: why would those receptors be there if they weren't meant to have an effect?

There's a growing body of evidence to suggest that vitamin D acts as a sentinel for our health in that it can control cell growth.  This means it can affect the instigation of cancer.

If cell begins to lose control of its own growth and is on a path to becoming a malignant cancer cell, activated vitamin D can come to the rescue by either turning on genes to control cell growth or inducing apoptosis whereby the cell kills itself.

If the tumor takes hold and begins to grow, active vitamin D has one more trick up its sleeve: it prevents blood vessel from supplying nutrition that the cancer needs to survive.

Once the malignant process begins, unfortunately, cancer cleverly has developed a system so that it becomes resistant to the benefitial effects of vitamin D.  All cancers, and most pathogens, secrete an enzyme called Nagalase, this little known enzyme breaks bonds on the active vitamin D thus inhibiting immune cell activation.

Stability & best storage

Cytonic food supplements have been demonstrated to be completely stable for 3 months when stored at 37 degrees celsius.  Avoid direct sunlight.

But for best results, keep refrigerated and use within 6 months of opening.  For longer term storage keep frozen where it will keep for at least 12 months.

Cytonic protein food supplements are pure, mixed isoforms of Vitamin D Binding Proteins suspended in 15ml sterile saline solution.  One bottle contains approximately 2,500ng Cytonic transport proteins.

Our dropper bottles come with an optional spray attachment. There are approximately 250 drops, or 100 sprays, per 15ml bottle.

1 drop =  10ng

1 spray = 25ng

Recommended daily dose - 1 spray, or 3 drops, once or twice a day.
